		New faces in NKV Agathe Puskarczyk and Burhard Rosskothen are new in the NKV director's board After Petra Bermes and Sabine Idstein laid down their posts in the director's board for personal and professional reasons, we are pleased to introduce Agathe Puskarcyk and Burkhard Rosskothen as the new members of the board: Agathe Puskcarcy will take over the ressorts art trips and kids programme development while Burkhard Rosskothen has dedicated himself to marketing strategies.
		Emily Wardill stops by on April 26, 2008 Before starting her three month working grant in Wiesbaden on June 1, 2008, the first Follow Fluxus laureate Emily Wardill will stop by for the openings this coming Saturday to get a first impression of the Kunstverein. This year, in cooperation with the state capital of Wiesbaden, we have awarded the Wiesbaden Grant “Follow Fluxus – after Fluxus”  for the first time. The goal is to support young international artists whose works suggest ideas inherent to the Fluxus art movement in order to keep the art current alive. - more ->

		New on the website: Multimedia und artists search We have enhanced our website for you and added two new functions: From now on, there will be a multimedia page where you can see and hear all audio and video files related to us. And there is now the possibility to search for artists from past exhibitions - dating back to the season 2000/2001 for now, but soon comprising all exhibitions since 1847. 	Guided tours and discussion with the curators every first Sunday of the month, 3pm Apart from the regular Sundays Guided Tours, the curators of the respective shows will guide you through the exhibitions every first Sunday of the month at 3pm, prepared to answer any questions you might have on the works' background, organisation or conception of the exhibition or anything you have always wanted to know about what we do! As always, participation is free of charge and open to all!

In the last part of our series "Famous French" in which we already talked about Jacques Derrida's notion of the truth in painting and Roland Barthes myths of the everydayerhard Richter's window for the Cologne cathedral was probably the most presentcase, Neo Rauch's version was opened only two , we will this time discuss what Michel Foucault understands as an author... As always, the text is provided for you in the NKV office and we are looking forward to welcoming you to an open discussion! 	NKV Kids inSIDE again on May 10 and 24 2008, from 11am Every second Saturday of the month, the NKV Discovery Tour takes children from 5 years of age through the exhibitions and every last Saturday of the month, we provide a two hour programme for children of all ages in which the kids can actively try their imagination in free creative work inSIDE, meaning in the exhibition space itself. As always, both activities are free of charge. The next NKV Discovery Tour will take place on Saturday, May 10 and June 7, 11 am and the next NKV Kids inSIDE will be on Saturday, May 24, 11am to 1pm - more ->
		Art trip to St Petersburg from June 25 to 30, 2008 The white nights of St Petersburg For five days, we will discover the treaures of the Venice of the North with our Russian robert Bosch stipendiary and cultural manager Nadja Simakina... 		NKVextra NKV hosting the Theater biennial of the Hessian State Theater Wiesbaden Neue Stücke aus Europa 2008 June 9 to 22, 2008
		Follow Fluxus / Emily Wardill from September 1, 2008 to May 2009 Wardill’s technique follows the principles of a collage with playful but strict rules of composition. In her films she quotes finds of the real world and underlays and expands them with speech specific elements. The films’ music, composed by Wardill herself, plays symmetrically mirrored after a strict score reminiscent of Schönberg’s twelve-tone technique.  - more ->
