In 2008, Emily Wardill was Follow Fluxus laureate in Wiesbaden. The
film “Game Keepers without Game” based on the
Melodrama
„Life is a Dream“ (Calderón: La vida es
sueño, 1635) was developed in this interval. The girl Stay,
who
had already been banished from her family home in her early years, will
be brought back only to be cast out again. The illusion, to be a part
of the family, can only remain “a dream“ for her
and
finally results in the murder of her entire family.
