We are happy to present the edition of 2020!

In 2018, Julian Irlinger exhibited in the international group exhibition H x B x T at the Nassauischer Kunstverein Wiesbaden. The edition props (2020) for the Kunstverein is now available.

In the lenticular prints of his series props, Julian Irlinger (* 1986, Erlangen) addresses the connection between economics, the public and art in the digital age. You see views of the Frick Collection in New York, which offers a virtual tour of their showrooms on their website. Irlinger combines screenshots of this virtual tour with shots of the same space of the mega-corporation Google, which launched the Google Art Project in 2011. Depending on the viewpoint, one shot superimposes the other and stands out in front of the other. To fully perceive the image, one must move. This overrides the ability of virtual tours to visit foreign locations without moving.
