In 1960s and 1970s Germany, women were still lacking fundamental rights: they were no indepentant legal entities meaning they could not open their own bank account. Abortion was illegal, rape within marriage was not. Dr. Elke Schüller talks about the ways women formed an autonomous feminist movement, reacting to the long-standing injustices. She talks about the topics which were highlighted mist, which goals were recahed and where there still were - and are - needs for action. The talk is part of the accompanying programm of "Fluxus Sex Ties", the prelude of the Wiesbaden Kunstsommer 2023, and takes place in cooperation with Volkshochschule Wiesbaden and Büro für Staatsbürgerliche Frauenarbeit.
