In 1962, the Fluxus - International Festival of Newest Music culminated in the legendary destruction of a grand piano. To mark the 60th anniversary of these events, the Nassauischer Kunstverein Wiesbaden is putting the focus on female artists in the canon of Fluxus in a meandering series of exhibitions starting in summer 2022. As a loud start to the series, the exhibition FLUXUS SEX TIES / Hier spielt die Musik! gives an insight into the virtuosity and importance of the female artists of Fluxus – from the very beginning to contemporaneity.
