The printed brochure for the INTERIOR cooperation provides a detailed insight into the history of the Nassauischer Kunstverein Wiesbaden's villa. It highlights the different phases of this historic building, from its original use as a duplex villa in the 19th century to its later transformation into a center for art and culture. Special attention is given to the villa's various functions, including its use by the NSDAP, as the Amerika-Haus after World War II, and eventually as the home of the Nassauischer Kunstverein since 1979.

As part of the INTERIOR cooperation, the exhibition Moving Boxes was presented at the Nassauischer Kunstverein Wiesbaden. This exhibition addressed the question of how moving boxes, as symbols of the mobility of today’s society in an increasingly expensive housing market, can open up new perspectives on living. Moving Boxes centered on the theme of housing and change, inviting visitors to reflect on alternative forms of living and dwelling.

The printed brochure offers a tangible way to engage more deeply with the history of the villa. It is available at the six institutions involved in the cooperation and represents a valuable addition to the accompanying INTERIOR events. It keeps the history of the building alive and places it in an exciting context with the Moving Boxes exhibition.
