The Nassauischer Kunstverein Wiesbaden presents Memory Palace, the first institutional solo exhibition in Germany by Martín La Roche (*1988 in Santiago, Chile, lives and works in Amsterdam). Spanning two floors, the exhibition provides an extensive insight into La Roche's artistic work, which includes installations, performances, works on paper, and objects. The starting point of his practice is various collections of objects, which are activated and continuously recontextualized through performances, storytelling, and participatory actions. The exhibition Memory Palace explores individual and collective memory in connection with objects and language, actively involving the audience to tell stories and reflect on creative processes.
