22 artists from the Staatliche Hochschule der Bildenden Künste - Städelschule show their latest works in an exhibition curated by Tobias Rehberger.

With the title LASH 23 the artists of the Klasse Tobias Rehberger position themselves self-confidently with 22 powerful lashes in the Hessian state capital.

The artists from different stages in their education make use of different media and genres. As Klasse Tobias Rehberger they pose as a group above their respective individuality questioning the common ground and the formative influence of the professor on the 22 students.

Since 2001 Tobias Rehberger teaches at the Staatliche Hochschule der Bildenden Künste - Städelschule. The last group exhibition of the Klasse Tobias Rehberger in the Nassauischer Kunstverein Wiesbaden with the title TOO FAT TOO FIT was in 2010. Now, 10 years later, it is time for a new review, looking at the current complexity of young contemporary positions in the Rhein-Main region.
