In her first solo exhibition in Europe, Emma Eubanks is showing a selection of illustrations and an animated film, through which she critically traces the pop cultural influences on the construction of an African-American culture in the USA.

Emma Eubanks (*1996, St. Paul) understands her illustrations as representations of and responses to current American youth culture. For the Culture celebrates a collective sense of life in a time of both great personal discovery and change on a broader scale.
