In her work, Helena Hafemann (*1997, Wiesbaden) deals with value concepts that arise within a consumer-oriented society, manifest themselves in objects and find new forms through transformative perception. She works with industrially manufactured products, which she enhances with artistic craftsmanship. While the Pink Public Pimple from the exhibition What's Up - Wie?, produced in a casting process, spread parasitically in public space like mushroom spores, Pink Private Pimple enables the invasion of private space. In a contemporary democratic edition of 2019 pieces, clearly ambiguous silicone objects were created as a numbered and signed edition.
