On the occasion of this year's exground filmfest 34 with the country focus on the USA, we invite you to the BIG APPLE SPRITZ on Thursday, November 18, from 6 p.m. - with cocktails from the city that never sleeps!

As a cooperation project of the exground filmfest, the Nassauischer Kunstverein Wiesbaden is showing the video series 2 Lizards by Orian Barki and Meriem Bennani this year. In eight short episodes, it tells of everyday life in a pandemic. The special thing about it: The characters in the series are all computer-animated animals, in the main role two lizards from Brooklyn. After the series went viral on Instagram in no time and reached more than half a million people, the MoMA in New York acquired the work in spring. For the first time in Germany, 2 Lizards will now be shown institutionally at the Nassauischer Kunstverein.

The event will take place in compliance with the 2G-rule (vaccinated or recovered).
